About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior E-commerce Analyst to join their data-driven team in Sunderland . Key Responsibilities
- Analyze e-commerce sales data, website traffic, and customer behaviour to identify key performance indicators and trends.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards and reports to track online performance metrics for stakeholders.
- Conduct in-depth A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) analyses to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide strategic recommendations to optimize the user experience, product merchandising, and marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and ensure data accuracy across all e-commerce platforms.
- Forecast sales trends and identify potential risks and opportunities within the online market landscape.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in e-commerce analytics or a related data analysis role.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as SQL, Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Strong understanding of web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics) and their application to e-commerce.
- Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights and strategic recommendations.
- Experience with A/B testing methodologies and conversion rate optimization techniques.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
