Senior E-commerce Analyst

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior E-commerce Analyst to provide critical insights and data-driven recommendations for their online business in Plymouth . This role involves deep diving into sales data, website analytics, and customer behavior to identify trends, optimize performance, and inform strategic decisions. You will play a key role in driving profitable growth by translating complex data into actionable strategies. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, proficient with data visualization tools, and possesses a strong understanding of the e-commerce landscape and its key performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze sales data, website traffic, and customer behavior to identify key trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track critical e-commerce KPIs , including conversion rates, AOV, LTV, and churn.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses into specific areas such as customer acquisition, retention, product performance, and website usability.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to provide data-driven insights and support strategic initiatives.
• Utilize data visualization tools to present complex findings in a clear and understandable manner to stakeholders.
• Provide recommendations for website optimization, marketing campaign improvements, and overall e-commerce strategy.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience as an E-commerce Analyst or in a similar data analysis role within the e-commerce sector.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Google Analytics , Adobe Analytics, or similar.
• Experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce metrics and business drivers.
