About the Role
Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior E-commerce Marketing Manager to lead their digital marketing efforts from their office in Leeds , with a hybrid working arrangement. This pivotal role involves developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that drive profitable growth across all online channels, with a strong emphasis on social media engagement and conversion optimization. You will manage a team, oversee budgets, and work cross-functionally to ensure a seamless customer journey from discovery to purchase, making a significant impact on the company's market position.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic marketing plans for the e-commerce business, focusing on customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value.
- Oversee and direct social media strategy, content creation, community management, and paid social advertising campaigns.
- Manage the digital marketing budget, allocating resources effectively across channels to maximize ROI and achieve sales targets.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of marketing professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and campaign performance data to identify new opportunities and optimize marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate with website development, merchandising, and customer service teams to ensure a cohesive and exceptional online customer experience.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in e-commerce marketing, with at least 2 years in a management role.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and executing data-driven digital marketing strategies that have driven significant revenue growth.
- Extensive knowledge of social media marketing, SEO, SEM, email marketing, and affiliate marketing.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
