About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior E-commerce Specialist to lead their online sales strategy and execution. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in the UK. You will be instrumental in driving online revenue growth, enhancing the customer journey across digital platforms, and managing the day-to-day operations of our client's e-commerce channels. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a proven track record in online retail, passionate about leveraging data to optimise performance and create seamless customer experiences from discovery to post-purchase, working within a collaborative and results-oriented remote team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive e-commerce strategies to increase online sales and profitability.
- Manage all aspects of the e-commerce platform, including website content, product listings, promotions, and order fulfillment processes.
- Analyse sales data, website traffic, and customer behaviour to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Oversee digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, and email marketing, to drive qualified traffic to the e-commerce site.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure a cohesive brand experience.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in e-commerce to maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an E-commerce Manager or similar role, with a strong understanding of online retail operations.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing e-commerce strategies that have driven significant revenue growth.
- Proficiency with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Experience with digital marketing channels and performance marketing techniques.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team setting.
