Our client in Coventry is looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Early Years Practitioner to join their passionate childcare team. This role involves providing high-quality care and education to young children, supporting the Nursery Manager, and guiding junior practitioners. You will play a key role in creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive and reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality learning experiences for children aged 0-5, ensuring activities are age-appropriate and engaging.
• Supervise and support junior practitioners and apprentices, providing guidance and feedback.
• Observe, assess, and record children's progress, maintaining accurate and confidential records.
• Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children under your care, adhering to strict safeguarding policies.
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers, sharing updates on their child's development and fostering strong home-school partnerships.

Requirements

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare or a related Early Years qualification.
• Significant experience working with young children in a professional childcare setting.
• Demonstrable knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Strong leadership potential and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Excellent understanding of child protection and safeguarding procedures.
