Senior Educational Psychologist

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Educational Psychologist to join their dedicated team in Plymouth . Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments of children and young people to identify learning, behavioral, and emotional needs.
• Develop and implement evidence-based psychological interventions and support plans.
• Provide consultation and training to teachers, parents, and other professionals on psychological best practices.
• Collaborate effectively with multi-agency teams to ensure coordinated support for service users.
• Undertake research and contribute to the development of service policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and consultations.
• Offer crisis intervention and support where necessary.

Requirements

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Educational Psychology.
• Professional registration as an Educational Psychologist (or eligibility for it).
• Significant experience (5+ years) working as an Educational Psychologist, preferably within educational settings.
• In-depth knowledge of child development, learning theories, and psychological assessment tools.
• Excellent diagnostic, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and report-writing abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model, balancing remote duties with on-site client work.
