Senior Electrical Design Engineer (Remote)

About the Role

Our client is seeking an accomplished Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their expanding, fully remote engineering department. This role is centered on the conceptualization, detailed design, and implementation of electrical systems for a diverse range of products and projects. You will leverage your expertise to drive innovation and ensure the highest standards of electrical design, working collaboratively with a geographically dispersed team. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical design process for new product development and system upgrades, from initial concept through to production release.
• Develop detailed electrical schematics , wiring harnesses, PCB layouts, and Bill of Materials (BOMs).
• Perform circuit analysis, simulations, and calculations to ensure design integrity, functionality, and compliance.
• Collaborate closely with mechanical, software, and firmware engineers to ensure seamless system integration.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior electrical engineers in the remote team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical design issues encountered during development, testing, or manufacturing phases.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in electrical design and development.
• Strong proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout software (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle).
• Solid understanding of analog and digital circuit design, power management, and signal integrity.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with proven ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team environment.
