Senior Electrical Design Engineer - Renewables

Key Responsibilities

• Design and engineer electrical systems for renewable energy projects, including grid connection and BESS integration.
• Prepare detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Conduct electrical calculations and simulations for power systems, protection, and cabling.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards, grid codes, and safety regulations.
• Liaise with project teams, suppliers, and grid operators to resolve technical queries and ensure project success.
• Review and approve vendor documentation and electrical equipment submittals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in electrical design, with a focus on renewable energy projects.
• Strong understanding of power systems, grid integration, and energy storage technologies.
• Proficiency in relevant electrical design and simulation software (e.g., AutoCAD, PVSyst, ETAP).
• Experience with Low Voltage (LV) and High Voltage (HV) systems.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills for remote work.
