Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of electrical systems for smart grid applications , including microgrids and demand-response systems.

• Perform complex electrical system analysis , load flow studies, and protection coordination.
• Develop technical specifications, design documentation, and project proposals for smart grid initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, power systems analysts, and project managers, in a remote setting.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and cybersecurity best practices.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a specialization in power systems or smart grids.
• Extensive experience (10+ years) in electrical design, with a significant focus on grid modernization and smart grid technologies.
• Deep understanding of power electronics, renewable energy integration, and grid control strategies.
• Proficiency in simulation tools (e.g., PSS/E, PowerFactory) and design software.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects and mentor other engineers in a remote work environment.
