Senior Electrical Engineer - Power Systems

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-voltage electrical systems for power generation, transmission, and distribution projects.
• Perform detailed electrical calculations, load flow analysis, and short circuit studies using industry-standard software.
• Specify electrical equipment, including transformers, switchgear, and protection relays, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Oversee the installation, commissioning, and testing of electrical systems on project sites.
• Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and clients to ensure project delivery targets are met.
• Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support for operational electrical infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a strong focus on power systems within the energy industry .
• Proficiency with electrical design software such as ETAP, PSS/E, or equivalent.
• In-depth knowledge of national and international electrical codes and standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE).
• Experience with grid connection studies and renewable energy integration is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead technical discussions.
