Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and analysis of complex high-voltage and low-voltage power systems .
- Develop detailed specifications, schematics, and single-line diagrams for power distribution networks.
- Perform load flow studies , short circuit analysis, and protection coordination studies.
- Ensure all power system designs comply with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and project-specific requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and external vendors to oversee system installation and commissioning.
- Provide technical expertise and mentorship to junior engineers on power system design principles.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Power Systems.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical power systems engineering.
- Strong proficiency with power system analysis software (e.g., ETAP, PSS/E, PSCAD).
- In-depth knowledge of power generation, transmission, distribution, and protection schemes.
- Experience with renewable energy integration and grid connection studies is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
