Senior Electrical Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex electrical systems, from concept to final implementation.
• Conduct detailed analysis, including power systems design, circuit analysis , and component selection.
• Oversee and participate in the testing, commissioning, and validation of electrical systems to ensure performance and safety standards are met.
• Collaborate with project managers and other engineering disciplines to ensure project timelines and budgets are adhered to.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians within the team.
• Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, reports, and specifications for electrical designs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in electrical engineering, with a strong focus on system design and analysis.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical) and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink).
• In-depth knowledge of electrical codes , standards, and regulatory requirements applicable to the UK.
• Proven experience in project management and leading technical teams.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
