About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team in Aberdeen . Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for complex projects.
- Conduct detailed technical analysis, including power distribution, control systems, and instrumentation design.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and project-specific requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers and project managers, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Prepare technical specifications, design reports, and project documentation.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior electrical engineering staff.
Requirements
- BEng/MEng or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering .
- Significant proven experience as an Electrical Engineer, with a focus on design and project leadership.
- Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP) and simulation tools.
- In-depth knowledge of power systems , control systems, and relevant UK and international standards.
- Experience in the oil and gas or renewable energy sector is highly advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent attention to detail.
