This role is vital for the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems across their energy infrastructure. You will lead projects, provide technical guidance, and ensure that all electrical installations meet stringent safety and performance standards. Key Responsibilities
- Design and specify electrical systems, including power distribution, motor control, and instrumentation.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems.
- Conduct electrical safety audits and ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g., BS 7671).
- Troubleshoot complex electrical faults and implement effective repair strategies.
- Manage electrical engineering projects, including scope, budget, and timeline.
- Provide technical support and mentorship to junior electrical engineers and technicians.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical engineering, ideally within the energy or industrial sector .
- Proficiency in electrical design software and simulation tools.
- Strong understanding of power systems, control systems, and instrumentation.
- Experience with safety regulations and best practices for electrical installations.
