About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team in Aberdeen, Scotland . Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of electrical schematics, control systems, and power distribution networks.
• Conduct detailed electrical system analysis , performance testing, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers and project managers, to ensure integrated design solutions.
• Develop and manage project documentation, including technical specifications, reports, and compliance records.
• Oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical equipment and systems, ensuring adherence to industry standards and client requirements.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements

• BEng or MEng degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in electrical design and project management.
• Proficiency in using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, SOLIDWORKS Electrical) and simulation tools.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, standards (e.g., BS 7671), and safety regulations.
• Experience with power systems, control systems, and instrumentation.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
