Senior Electrical Engineer
Portsmouth £55,000–£65,000 Permanent, Full Time
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a specialist defence and advanced engineering organisation.
You'll contribute to complex product development, provide technical guidance and mentor engineers and technicians across multidisciplinary projects.
Key Responsibilities for the Senior Electrical Engineer
Provide technical leadership and mentoring Support electrical design and product development Manage technical requirements and workloads Collaborate with customers, suppliers and engineering teams Support testing, qualification and continuous improvementRequirements for the Senior Electrical Engineer
Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline 5 years' engineering experience Strong technical, problem-solving and communication skills Experience mentoring engineers Strong 3D modelling and simulation skills Knowledge of engineering standardsDesirable: Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD Electrical, Altium, defence/aerospace, systems engineering and ISO 9001 / AS9100.
