Senior Electrical Grid Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed power system analysis , including load flow, short circuit, and stability studies.
• Design and specify electrical equipment for substations, transmission lines, and distribution networks.
• Develop and implement grid connection solutions for renewable energy projects.
• Ensure compliance with relevant grid codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical guidance on grid protection schemes and fault analysis.
• Collaborate with project teams, utilities, and regulatory bodies to facilitate grid integration.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Systems.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical grid engineering or power systems analysis.
• Proficiency with power system analysis software (e.g., PSS/E, ETAP, PSCAD).
• Strong understanding of grid interconnection standards and renewable energy integration challenges.
• Experience with power system protection principles and equipment.
