Days based shift (Monday-Friday)
You can be based in or around the following areas: Ellesmere Port, Chester, Birkenhead, Liverpool, Manchester, Wrexham, Crewe, Northwich, Warrington
£50,000 - £55,000
Overtime (1.5x hourly rate weekdays, 2x hourly rate weekends)
33 days Holiday (inclusive of Bank Holidays)

Are you an experienced / Senior Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer looking for a days-based, Monday-Friday role within a state-of-the-art facility where you will work on cutting-edge systems?

The ideal candidate has extensive experience maintaining electrical and instrumentation systems and is looking to take the next step into a senior position, acting as a task expert supporting maintenance activities and providing technical guidance across the site.
This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced engineer to join a close-knit yet well-established team as they continue expanding their in-house maintenance function.
The Role:
- Undertake planned and reactive maintenance on Electrical and Instrumentation equipment across the facility
- Provide technical leadership and support to the maintenance team, ensuring the safe and efficient running of critical systems
- Fault find and maintain plant control instrumentation and control systems including DCS, PLCs, SCADA and HMIs
- Site-based working at the new cutting-edge production centre

The Person:
- Extensive experience servicing and maintaining Electrical / Instrumentation systems within a process plant
- Strong knowledge of plant control instrumentation and control systems including PLCs, SCADA, HMIs and DCS
- Experience working with LV equipment
- Previous experience in a senior or lead maintenance role, or motivated to step into one
