Senior Electrical Project Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Senior Electrical Project Engineer to manage and execute electrical engineering projects within their dynamic operations in Leeds . This role requires a proactive individual with strong project management skills and a solid foundation in electrical engineering principles. You will be responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of electrical projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Key Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of electrical engineering projects, from initiation and planning to execution and closeout.
• Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
• Ensure all electrical installations and modifications comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Conduct site inspections, performance testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, resolve technical issues, and implement corrective actions.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience as an Electrical Project Engineer, with at least 5 years in a senior capacity.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and control technologies.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6).
• Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations pertaining to electrical work.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and effectively lead project teams.
