About the Role
Our client seeks a highly motivated and experienced Senior Electrical Project Engineer to manage and deliver complex electrical engineering projects from inception to completion within their Bristol facility. This role demands strong leadership, technical expertise, and excellent project management skills. You will be responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is an integral role within our engineering department, requiring a proactive approach and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and closing of electrical engineering projects.
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Oversee the design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
- Provide technical guidance and supervision to project teams, including engineers and technicians.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; PMP certification is a plus.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in project engineering or project management within the electrical engineering sector.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex electrical projects.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent understanding of electrical systems, equipment, and construction practices.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
