Senior Embedded Electrical Engineer

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly experienced Senior Embedded Electrical Engineer to join their fully remote team. This position is pivotal in the design and development of complex embedded electrical systems for next-generation products. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of embedded hardware, from conceptualization and schematic design to PCB layout, prototyping, and validation. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex embedded hardware, including microcontrollers, FPGAs, and sensor interfaces.
• Create detailed schematic diagrams and PCB layouts using industry-standard CAD tools.
• Select appropriate electronic components, considering performance, cost, and availability.
• Develop and execute rigorous testing and validation plans for embedded systems.
• Collaborate closely with firmware and software engineers in a remote environment to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware issues during development and production phases.
• Contribute to the definition of product requirements and technical roadmaps for future embedded systems.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; PhD is a plus.
• 10+ years of professional experience in embedded hardware design and development.
• Deep understanding of digital and analog circuit design , power management, and signal integrity.
• Proficiency with Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or similar PCB design tools.
• Experience with embedded systems programming and debugging tools.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and lead technical discussions in a remote setting.
