About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Employment Lawyer to bolster their legal team in Glasgow . This crucial role involves providing expert advice on all aspects of employment law, from contracts and policies to complex disputes and tribunal proceedings. You will be responsible for guiding HR and management on employment-related matters, ensuring compliance with legislation and mitigating legal risks. Key Responsibilities

• Advise on all areas of employment law, including contracts of employment, policies, and procedures.
• Manage and conduct employment tribunal claims and represent the company in proceedings.
• Provide guidance on employee relations issues, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
• Advise on TUPE regulations, redundancies, and restructuring projects.
• Develop and deliver training sessions on employment law to managers and staff.
• Ensure compliance with current employment legislation and best practices.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor or Barrister in Scotland or England & Wales with a minimum of 5 years' PQE.
• Proven expertise in contentious and non-contentious employment law matters.
• Experience in handling employment tribunal litigation.
• Strong understanding of UK employment legislation and case law.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and client management skills.
