About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented and creative Senior Event Chef to join their prestigious catering team in Coventry . This role is critical in delivering exceptional culinary experiences for a wide range of events, from intimate gatherings to large-scale functions. You will be responsible for menu creation, kitchen management, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation. Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute diverse and appealing menus for various events, catering to different dietary needs and preferences.
• Lead and mentor the kitchen brigade, ensuring efficient workflow, high standards of hygiene, and consistent food quality.
• Manage kitchen inventory, including stock control, ordering of ingredients, and minimizing waste.
• Oversee food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure presentation and taste meet exceptional standards.
• Collaborate with the event planning team to understand client requirements and deliver tailored culinary solutions.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Chef , preferably with a background in event catering or high-volume banqueting.
• Strong culinary skills with a creative flair for menu development and presentation.
• Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
• Solid understanding of food safety, hygiene standards, and HACCP principles.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple culinary tasks simultaneously.
• Relevant culinary qualifications or equivalent professional experience.
