Senior Facilities Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Facilities Engineer to support their operations near Brighton . This role focuses on the design, construction, maintenance, and integrity of surface facilities and infrastructure for oil and gas production sites. You will ensure that all facilities operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with environmental regulations. This is a crucial position for maintaining and enhancing the operational capability of our client's assets in the Oil & Gas sector, requiring a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of new facilities and equipment.
• Oversee the maintenance, integrity, and inspection programs for existing production facilities.
• Ensure all facilities operate in compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to process equipment, utilities, and infrastructure.
• Develop and manage budgets for facility upgrades, modifications, and maintenance projects.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in facilities engineering , preferably within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of process equipment, rotating machinery, and plant utilities.
• Experience with project management, contract administration, and HAZOP studies.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
