About the Role

Our client is recruiting for a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join their dynamic finance department in Wolverhampton . This key role involves providing sophisticated financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic planning support to senior leadership. You will be responsible for translating complex financial data into actionable insights, identifying business trends, and developing financial models to guide strategic decision-making. This is a critical position for an experienced analyst looking to make a significant impact within a growing organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including profitability, variance, and trend analysis.
• Develop complex financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management and board meetings.
• Identify key financial risks and opportunities and recommend strategic actions.
• Collaborate with department heads to understand business needs and provide financial support.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor performance to inform strategic planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certification (CFA, CMA) is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or corporate finance.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis tools.
• Experience with ERP systems and business intelligence software.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
