About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and strategic Senior Financial Analyst to join their expanding finance team, operating on a fully remote basis from Stoke-on-Trent . You will work closely with various departments to understand financial performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and contribute to the company's overall financial health and growth trajectory. Key Responsibilities

• Develop complex financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis.
• Analyze financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for management.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior leadership.
• Conduct profitability analysis and provide insights into key business drivers.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to support strategic planning and investment decisions.
• Monitor key financial metrics and KPIs, ensuring accurate reporting and tracking.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a related role.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, modeling, and data visualization.
• Experience with financial planning software (e.g., Anaplan, Hyperion) is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote setting.
