About the Role
Our client is seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to lead their FP&A function in Oxford . This pivotal role involves driving financial strategy, developing long-range plans, and providing critical insights into business performance. You will partner closely with executive leadership, collaborating on strategic initiatives and ensuring robust financial discipline. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the annual budgeting and long-range financial planning processes.
- Develop insightful financial models and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
- Analyze financial performance against budget, forecast, and prior periods, identifying key trends and drivers.
- Prepare financial reports and presentations for the executive team and board of directors.
- Partner with business unit leaders to provide financial guidance and support strategic initiatives.
- Drive improvements in financial planning processes, tools, and reporting capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis.
- Proven expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Strong understanding of corporate finance principles and accounting standards.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with financial planning software (e.g., Hyperion, Anaplan) and advanced Excel .
