About the Role
Our client is seeking a seasoned and strategic Senior Financial Planning Manager to lead their financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function in Norwich . This pivotal role involves driving the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic financial planning processes for the entire organization. You will provide critical insights and financial guidance to senior leadership to support informed business decisions and optimize financial performance. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
- Build and maintain sophisticated financial models to support strategic initiatives and scenario planning.
- Analyze financial performance against budget/forecast, identifying variances and developing actionable recommendations.
- Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, dashboards, and analyses to senior management.
- Collaborate closely with business unit leaders to understand their financial needs and provide strategic support.
- Continuously improve FP&A processes, tools, and methodologies.
Requirements
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) or a related finance management role.
- Expertise in financial modeling, data analysis, and management reporting.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and business drivers.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with FP&A software and ERP systems, supporting operations in Norwich .
