About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Senior Football Coach to lead their youth academy program in Sunderland . You will be responsible for scouting potential players, designing comprehensive training schedules, and working closely with parents and academy staff to ensure the holistic development of each athlete. Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver high-quality training sessions focused on technical, tactical, physical, and psychological development.
• Identify, recruit, and nurture talented young players for the academy.
• Monitor player progress and provide constructive feedback and individual development plans.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant football governing body regulations and best practices.
• Manage the coaching team and provide mentorship and guidance.
• Foster a positive team culture that emphasizes sportsmanship, discipline, and hard work.

Requirements

• Recognised FA coaching badges (e.g., UEFA A Licence or equivalent).
• Significant experience in youth football coaching at a competitive level.
• Demonstrated ability to develop player talent and implement effective coaching strategies.
• Strong understanding of child protection policies and safeguarding procedures.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and motivational skills.
• A passion for developing young athletes and contributing to the growth of football in Sunderland .
