Senior Frontend Developer

About the Role

Our client is searching for a talented and experienced Senior Frontend Developer to join their innovative technology team based in Leeds . You will play a crucial role in building and enhancing user-facing web applications, translating design mockups and wireframes into high-quality, responsive code. This position requires a deep understanding of modern JavaScript frameworks and a passion for creating seamless and intuitive user experiences. You will work closely with backend developers and UI/UX designers, contributing to architectural decisions and mentoring junior team members in a collaborative and agile environment, fostering best practices in web development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality, responsive web applications using modern frontend technologies.
• Translate UI/UX design wireframes and mockups into functional, pixel-perfect code.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic and APIs.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Write clean, well-documented, and reusable code, adhering to coding standards and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior frontend developers.
• Stay current with emerging frontend technologies and propose innovative solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in frontend web development .
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Extensive experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Vuex) and build tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel).
• Solid understanding of responsive design principles , cross-browser compatibility, and web performance optimization.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
