Senior Frontend Developer

About the Role

Our client is looking for a talented and creative Senior Frontend Developer to join their vibrant product development team in Leeds . You will be responsible for translating UI/UX design wireframes into high-quality, responsive, and interactive web applications. This role requires a passion for building exceptional user experiences and a deep understanding of modern frontend technologies. You will work collaboratively with designers and backend engineers to deliver seamless and engaging digital products that meet user needs and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain user-facing features using modern frontend frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and translate them into functional, high-quality code.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and responsiveness across various devices and browsers.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to frontend architecture discussions.
• Stay updated with emerging frontend technologies and industry trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development.
• Expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (including ES6+).
• Proficiency with at least one major JavaScript framework (React, Angular, or Vue.js).
• Strong understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility issues.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
