About the Role
Our client is seeking a creative and experienced Senior Frontend Developer to join their innovative team in Leeds . You will be responsible for crafting intuitive and engaging user interfaces for our client's suite of web applications. This role requires a deep understanding of modern frontend frameworks and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences. Working within a collaborative, hybrid setup, you'll have the opportunity to shape the visual and interactive elements of our products, working closely with UX designers and backend engineers to deliver seamless digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces using modern frontend frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Translate UI/UX design wireframes and mockups into functional, dynamic web pages.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Collaborate closely with backend developers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, participating actively in code reviews.
- Stay current with emerging frontend technologies and best practices, advocating for their adoption where appropriate.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development .
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks.
- Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand) and build tools (e.g., Webpack, Vite).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
- A keen eye for design detail and a passion for creating intuitive user experiences.
