About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented and motivated Senior Frontend Developer to join their dynamic tech team in Milton Keynes . This role is critical in building and enhancing user-facing features for their innovative web applications. You will be responsible for translating UI/UX designs into high-quality, responsive code, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience across all devices. The ideal candidate is passionate about clean code, modern JavaScript frameworks, and works collaboratively with backend developers and designers to deliver exceptional digital products. You will play a key role in technical decision-making and mentoring other developers within the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement responsive, user-friendly interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular).
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional, high-quality code.
- Optimize frontend performance for speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, and participate actively in code reviews.
- Work closely with backend developers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic and APIs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development .
- Expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with experience in at least one modern frontend framework.
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
- Experience with build tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a collaborative team-player attitude.
