Senior Frontend Developer

About the Role

Our client is looking for a talented Senior Frontend Developer to enhance their user-facing applications. This hybrid role allows you to combine the benefits of remote work with in-office collaboration, contributing to visually appealing and highly interactive web experiences. You will play a key role in translating UI/UX designs into functional, responsive, and performant web applications, working closely with backend engineers and product teams. We are seeking an individual with a keen eye for detail, a passion for creating seamless user interfaces, and a commitment to best practices in frontend development within our Milton Keynes office or remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive, high-performance user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and mockups into intuitive and engaging user experiences.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable frontend code, adhering to established coding standards.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Work with backend developers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic and APIs.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and contribute to technical decision-making processes.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Frontend Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of work.
• In-depth knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Expertise in at least one popular frontend framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Experience with state management libraries, build tools (Webpack, Babel), and version control systems (Git).
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing remote and office-based work in Milton Keynes .
