About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Frontend Developer to join their remote-first engineering team, supporting their operations in Glasgow . You will be responsible for building and maintaining user-facing features for their innovative web applications, ensuring a seamless and responsive user experience. This role demands a deep understanding of modern frontend technologies, a commitment to writing clean, efficient code, and the ability to collaborate effectively with backend developers and designers. You'll play a key role in architectural decisions and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy high-quality, responsive user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional, interactive web experiences.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to team members and ensuring adherence to coding standards.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and help define frontend development best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development .
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Extensive experience with at least one major JavaScript framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand) and build tools (e.g., Webpack, Vite).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
