About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Frontend Engineer to enhance their user interface development capabilities in Nottingham . You will take a leading role in building responsive, accessible, and high-performance web applications. This position requires a deep understanding of modern JavaScript frameworks and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences. Working in a hybrid model, you'll collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to bring innovative ideas to life, ensuring our client's digital products are both visually appealing and highly functional.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop complex, scalable, and maintainable user interfaces using modern frontend technologies.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and mockups into high-quality code.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-tested JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Mentor junior frontend developers and contribute to the team's technical growth.
• Ensure adherence to web accessibility standards (WCAG) and performance best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development.
• Expertise in JavaScript and modern frameworks such as React , Angular, or Vue.js.
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand) and build tools (e.g., Webpack).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
• Knowledge of frontend testing frameworks and tools.
