Senior Full Stack Developer (Blockchain)

About the Role

Our client is looking for a talented Senior Full Stack Developer with a specialization in Blockchain technologies to join their innovative team in Belfast . You will be responsible for developing and integrating both the front-end and back-end components of decentralized applications, ensuring seamless user experiences and robust system performance. This role requires a blend of strong software engineering skills and a deep understanding of blockchain protocols and smart contracts. You'll work closely with designers, product managers, and other engineers to bring cutting-edge Crypto & Blockchain solutions to life.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain user interfaces for decentralized applications using modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue).
• Build and optimize scalable backend services and APIs that interact with blockchain networks.
• Implement and manage smart contracts, ensuring their security and efficiency.
• Integrate front-end applications with blockchain protocols using libraries like web3.js or ethers.js.
• Write comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for both front-end and back-end code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in full stack web development, with demonstrable experience in blockchain development.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frameworks (React, Vue, Angular).
• Strong backend development skills with languages like Node.js, Python, or Go, and experience with RESTful APIs.
• Experience with smart contract development (Solidity preferred) and blockchain interaction libraries.
• Understanding of blockchain concepts, cryptocurrencies, and decentralized applications (dApps).
• Experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies.
