Senior Full Stack Developer - FinTech

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated Senior Full Stack Developer to join their rapidly growing FinTech division in Manchester . You will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining sophisticated financial applications used by a global client base. This position requires a blend of front-end and back-end expertise, focusing on creating robust, scalable, and user-friendly interfaces. You'll work within an agile team environment, contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle, and enjoying the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement scalable web applications using modern frameworks for both front-end and back-end development.
• Design and integrate with RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless communication between services.
• Write high-quality, testable code and participate actively in code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate user requirements and mockups into functional features.
• Optimize application performance and database efficiency for a responsive user experience.
• Contribute to the architectural design and technical roadmap of the platform.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in full stack web development.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as React , Angular , or Vue.js , and HTML5/CSS3.
• Strong experience with back-end languages like Node.js , Java , or Python , and associated frameworks.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker) is a plus.
