About the Role

Our client, a leading charity organisation, is seeking a proactive and results-driven Senior Fundraising Officer to play a key role in their development efforts in Coventry . This position is crucial for expanding the charity's reach and impact by securing vital funding through diverse channels. You will be responsible for identifying new funding opportunities, cultivating relationships with potential donors, and managing existing partnerships to ensure continued support. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic fundraising plans, focusing on major gifts, corporate partnerships, and grant applications.
• Identify, research, and cultivate prospective donors and partners, building robust relationships aligned with the charity's objectives.
• Manage a portfolio of existing donors, ensuring effective stewardship and maximising their contribution potential.
• Prepare compelling funding proposals, reports, and presentations for diverse audiences.
• Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to develop compelling fundraising materials and campaigns.

Requirements

• Significant experience in a fundraising or business development role within the charity sector.
• Demonstrable track record of successfully securing significant funding from various sources.
• Exceptional proposal writing and presentation skills.
• Strong understanding of donor relationship management principles and CRM systems.
• Excellent networking and negotiation abilities, based in or able to commute to Coventry .
