About the Role
Our client seeks an experienced and strategic Senior Fundraising Officer to enhance their funding streams in Belfast . This role is crucial for cultivating relationships with major donors, trusts, and foundations, securing significant financial support for our client's ongoing projects and future initiatives. You will lead on developing compelling funding proposals, managing donor portfolios, and contributing to the overall fundraising strategy. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies for securing major gifts, grants from trusts and foundations, and corporate partnerships.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with a portfolio of high-value donors and potential funders.
- Research and identify new funding opportunities, evaluating their potential and alignment with organisational goals.
- Write persuasive and high-quality funding proposals, applications, and reports.
- Collaborate with programme teams to gather necessary information and articulate impact effectively.
Requirements
- Proven track record in fundraising, with significant experience in major donor or trust and foundation fundraising.
- Demonstrated success in developing and writing compelling funding proposals.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills for prospect research and evaluating funding opportunities.
- Proficiency in CRM databases and fundraising best practices.
