About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality character and environmental animations for video games , focusing on realism and emotional impact.
• Collaborate with art directors and character modelers to ensure animation style consistency.
• Implement and refine animations within the game engine, optimizing for performance and playability.
• Mentor junior animators, providing guidance and constructive feedback on their work.
• Develop and maintain animation systems and pipelines, ensuring efficiency and quality.
• Work closely with technical directors to troubleshoot and resolve animation-related issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in game animation , with a strong portfolio showcasing keyframe animation skills.
• Proficiency in industry-standard animation software (e.g., Maya, 3ds Max) and game engines (e.g., Unreal Engine, Unity).
• Solid understanding of animation principles, including timing, weight, and posing.
• Experience with motion capture cleanup and editing is a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work effectively within a hybrid work model and contribute to team goals.
