Senior Geologist - Exploration

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze regional geological data, including seismic, well logs, and core samples, to identify and de-risk exploration targets.
• Develop integrated subsurface models and prospect assessments to support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with geophysicists, reservoir engineers, and management to define exploration strategies and work programs.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and potential partners.
• Evaluate new technologies and methodologies for exploration, promoting innovation within the team.
• Manage exploration data and maintain databases to ensure accuracy and accessibility.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in Geology, Geophysics, or a related Earth Science discipline.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in exploration geology within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Proven track record of successful prospect identification and evaluation.
• Expertise in seismic interpretation, well data analysis, and basin modeling.
• Proficiency with geological modeling and visualization software (e.g., Petrel, Kingdom Suite).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills, particularly in a remote collaboration setting.
