A leading specialist consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join its Cardiff team.

The role offers the opportunity to work across a varied portfolio of geotechnical projects, taking responsibility for technical delivery while supporting the development of junior engineers.

The role

Managing and delivering geotechnical projects from ground investigation through to design Undertaking geotechnical analysis and design for a range of projects Working on foundations, retaining structures, earthworks and slope stability Reviewing ground investigation information and producing interpretive reports Providing technical advice to clients and project teams Liaising with clients, contractors and other disciplines Preparing technical specifications, reports and fee proposals Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team Contributing to business development and client relationshipsAbout you:

Degree qualified in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology or a related subject Previous experience within a geotechnical consultancy Strong understanding of ground investigation and geotechnical design Experience with foundation and earthworks design Comfortable managing projects and working directly with clients Chartered or working towards Chartership is desirableThe position would suit a Senior Geotechnical Engineer looking for a varied project portfolio, increased responsibility and the opportunity to progress within a well-established technical team
