About the Role

Our client is looking for a talented and creative Senior Hair Stylist to join their award-winning salon located in the vibrant city of Southampton . As a senior stylist, you will be expected to demonstrate exceptional technical skill, a strong creative vision, and excellent client consultation abilities. Key Responsibilities

• Provide a full range of hairdressing services including cutting, colouring, styling, and advanced treatments.
• Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their hair type, lifestyle, and desired look.
• Offer expert advice on hair care, styling products, and suitable treatments.
• Maintain the highest standards of salon hygiene and client safety.
• Stay ahead of the latest hair trends, techniques, and product innovations through continuous learning.
• Build and maintain a loyal client base through exceptional service and skill.
• Potentially assist in training and guiding apprentice stylists.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 2 & 3 in Hairdressing or equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience as a qualified Hair Stylist .
• Expertise in a wide range of colouring techniques (balayage, highlights, creative colours) and cutting styles.
• Strong client consultation skills and the ability to build immediate rapport.
• A passion for hairdressing and a creative flair.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
