Senior Hardware Engineer - Remote

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex digital and analog electronic circuits and systems.
• Specify, select, and integrate hardware components, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop detailed schematics, board layouts, and firmware for embedded systems.
• Create comprehensive test plans, conduct hardware bring-up, and perform rigorous validation testing.
• Collaborate closely with software engineers, mechanical engineers, and product managers in a distributed team environment.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of professional experience in hardware engineering, with a strong focus on product development.
• Proficiency in schematic capture, PCB layout tools, and hardware debugging techniques.
• In-depth knowledge of microcontrollers, FPGAs, power management, and communication interfaces (e.g., USB, SPI, I2C).
• Experience with simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, HyperLynx) and lab equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).
• Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to thrive in a remote, collaborative setting.
