About the Role

Our client is actively seeking an experienced Senior Healthcare Architect to join their specialist team in Oxford . This pivotal role involves leading the design and delivery of complex healthcare facilities, requiring a deep understanding of the unique demands and regulations of this sector. You will collaborate closely with clients, medical professionals, and technical consultants to create functional, efficient, and patient-centred environments. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design process for healthcare projects, from feasibility studies to detailed design and construction support.
• Ensure designs comply with all relevant healthcare standards, regulations, and guidelines (e.g., HTM, HFN).
• Collaborate with clinical stakeholders to understand operational needs and translate them into effective architectural solutions.
• Coordinate with a multi-disciplinary design team, including engineers, M&E consultants, and specialist advisors.
• Manage project delivery, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely completion.
• Prepare high-quality design presentations and documentation for clients and regulatory bodies.

Requirements

• A recognised architectural qualification and significant experience specializing in healthcare architecture .
• In-depth knowledge of healthcare planning, building standards, and operational requirements.
• Proficiency in Revit and other relevant architectural design and documentation software.
• Strong project management and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
