Senior HR Business Partner – Middlesbrough Council
Contract: 6+ months ongoing

Fox Morris Group are currently working with Middlesbrough Council to recruit an experienced Senior HR Business Partner on a long-term contract basis.
This is a senior-level opportunity for an experienced HR professional who can operate strategically, influence senior managers and provide expert advice across complex employee relations and organisational change matters.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide strategic HR leadership, challenging and influencing managers to develop greater management independence and improve ways of working.
* Lead by example in demonstrating the Council's values and expected behaviours, positively influencing managers and employees across the organisation.
* Provide specialist HR advice and guidance across areas including:
* TUPE
* Complex Employee Relations
* Trade Union matters
* Job Evaluation
* Pensions
* Equality & Diversity
* Organisational Reviews
* Redundancy and consultation processes
* Manage and provide leadership to staff within the HR Business Unit.
* Build strong and effective relationships with service areas, senior managers and the Wider Leadership Team.
* Identify areas for improvement in management practice, challenge existing approaches and develop innovative solutions to complex HR matters.
* Represent the HR Service and Council at regional meetings and events.
* Develop professional networks and external partnerships to share best practice and identify new ways of working.
Essential Requirements
* CIPD Level 7 qualification
* Significant experience operating at Senior HR Business Partner level or equivalent.
* Strong knowledge of complex employee relations and organisational change.
* Experience providing strategic HR advice to senior management and leadership teams.
* Ability to confidently challenge, influence and advise senior stakeholders.
* Strong understanding of employment legislation and HR best practice.
* Public sector / Local Authority experience would be highly advantageous
