About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly competent and proactive Senior HR Generalist to join their established team in Plymouth . This role offers a wide scope of HR responsibilities, providing expert support and guidance to employees and management. You will be involved in employee relations, performance management, recruitment, HR policy implementation, and HR project work. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the HR function and driving positive employee relations within the Plymouth region, acting as a reliable resource for all HR-related matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive HR support across all generalist areas, including employee relations, performance, and policy.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.
- Advise managers on performance management, disciplinary, and grievance procedures.
- Support recruitment activities, including workforce planning and talent attraction strategies.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and initiatives.
- Support HR projects and organizational change initiatives as required.
Requirements
- Significant experience in a Senior HR Generalist role or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Proven ability to manage employee relations cases effectively.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and problem-solving skills.
- CIPD qualification or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
