About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior HR Manager to lead their People Operations function. This is a fully remote, senior-level position that offers the opportunity to shape and implement HR strategies across the organisation. You will be instrumental in fostering a positive and productive work environment, supporting employee growth, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, all within a dynamic, virtual-first setting. This role is crucial for developing and executing HR initiatives that align with our client's business objectives and promote a culture of excellence and inclusivity, from anywhere in the UK .
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies and policies that support business objectives.
- Oversee employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, and talent acquisition processes.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to foster a welcoming workplace.
- Provide guidance and support to management on HR-related matters, including legal compliance and best practices.
- Manage and mentor the HR team, fostering professional development and high performance.
- Utilise HRIS and other technology platforms to streamline HR operations and reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., CIPD) preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership role.
- Proven experience in developing and executing HR strategies in a remote or distributed workforce.
- In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proficiency in HR information systems (HRIS) and payroll software.
