Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing processes and identify opportunities for automation and robotic integration.
• Design, develop, and implement automated systems and robotic workcells, ensuring optimal performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers and plant operations, to integrate automated solutions.
• Develop technical specifications, select appropriate hardware and software, and manage vendor relationships.
• Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and ROI analyses for automation projects.
• Provide technical expertise and support for the commissioning, troubleshooting, and ongoing optimization of automated systems.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in robotics and automation technologies and recommend their adoption where beneficial.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in industrial engineering with a specialization in automation and robotics.
• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and commissioning robotic systems (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB).
• Strong understanding of PLCs, HMI, SCADA systems, and industrial control systems.
• Experience with simulation software for robotic cells and automation processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fully remote work environment and manage projects effectively across distributed teams.
